Greco's Green Eggs And Ham!

 In honor of Dr. Seuss's birthday, we celebrated by reading Green Eggs and Ham!  After that, we made our own "Greco's Green Eggs and Ham".

Vanilla wafers made our eggs and a little green coloring all came from Wegs. 

We all took turns and created our dish. Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss, that is our wish!

                                                                 

                                                               

We're Back From February Break!

We're back from February break and that means back to work!  We are reviewing all the words and letters we have been working on.  To refresh our memories we practiced writing the letters on the smart board and picking objects to match up with them. It is great to be back in the classroom with all of our friends!

Valentine's Day Fun!

 We had so much fun on Valentine's Day!  We gave cards and candy to all of our friends, we ate pizza and watched a movie at lunchtime!  After lunch, everyone went to the gym for a Valentine's Day dance!  There was a bubble gum blowing contest, a Hula Hoop contest and a limbo contest. 

We hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day.  We certainly did!

We Are A Musical Bunch!

 When it is time for music class, we get pretty serious, wouldn't you say?  We are quite proud of our instrument playing!  Sometimes we play together, other times we take turns and play separately.  We share our instruments with one another.  And when it comes to singing and playing... it is music to everyone's ears!

Reviewing Our Letters and Words

 We are hard at work this week reviewing the letters "U" and "V".  We are doing work at the table and also on the Smart Board.  We are tracing the letters and writing them ourselves.  We are also working on our words "under" and "love".  We are spelling the words on the Smart Board and singing spelling songs.

Buddy!

 We have so much fun when Buddy comes to our classroom for a visit!  We like to take him for walks and give him treats.  He does lots of tricks for us... he likes to catch the ball, sit, lay down and shake.  He is very friendly and listens to us when we ask him to do a trick.  We Love Buddy!

The Letter of the Week is... "V"

 We are all working hard on our letter of the week.  We are tracing, drawing, cutting out and pasting our own letter V's.  We also sing songs about the letter "V".  This week's word is "love".
